Thank you all for the great feedback from version 1. You have given us some great ideas on how to make NotesNActions 2 the life organizer you are looking for. Here are some highlights of the improvements of version 2 from version 1.
- Completely revamped user interface. We integrated the calendar and the filter section (show items) into the main screen, so it is always clear, and always easy to interact with these sections with minimal effort. We have also improved the look, feel, and function of the expanded notes and description editors at the bottom of the main screen. Minimized the number of columns you need to look at by adding icons to each item to indicate more about the content that each item contains. We even show you a preview of any images that have been attached to the currently selected item. Did I say images?
- Images! We have added a whole new set of functions around capturing, importing and managing images. Take screen shots, import scanned images or photos, drag and drop web images right into NotesNActions. Then assign these images to any number of items. View all your images in the new Image Explorer. Now you can quickly see what your last eBill or eStatement was, you can see the cover of the book you put on your wish list, you can record that photo with your journal entry, you can see those drawing you made on the napkin over coffee yesterday, and so on, and so on.
- Auto recognize URLs and email addresses. If you include a link or an email address in your data for any item, NotesNActions will recognize that and provide quick and easy right-click menu functions to go to that URL or to email to that address directly from NotesNActions using your preferred email client or web browser.
